Some Trips You Can
Re-Live Every Day

Tasted it on the patio? Now bring it home. Fresh-roasted Guatemalan coffee, shipped straight to your door — every month, without a second thought.

Born in the Mountains
of Guatemala

Our beans come from Huehuetenango — a remote, high-altitude region in northwestern Guatemala where volcanic soils, cool mountain air, and generations of farming tradition converge to produce some of the world's most celebrated coffee.

Small family farms hand-pick only the ripest cherries. No shortcuts, no industrial harvesting. The result is a bean with extraordinary complexity — bright, clean, and deeply flavorful. We source directly from these farmers, paying fair prices and building long-term relationships.

Our Process

Every bag of Patrona coffee is the result of four carefully considered steps — each one designed to protect the quality of the bean from harvest to your morning cup.

1
Hand-Harvested
Skilled farmers in Huehuetenango hand-select only the ripest cherries at peak ripeness — no mechanical picking.
2
Ethically Sourced
We partner directly with small family farms, paying fair prices and supporting sustainable farming practices.
3
Small-Batch Roasted
Each batch is carefully roasted to highlight the bean's natural flavor profile — never over-roasted, always fresh.
4
Shipped Fresh
Packaged immediately after roasting and shipped nationwide. Your coffee arrives at peak flavor — not sitting on a shelf.

Brew It Right

Huehuetenango beans shine with almost any brewing method. Here's how to get the most out of every bag.

Pour-Over
Our favorite method. Highlights the bright citrus acidity and floral notes beautifully. Use a medium-fine grind and water at 200°F.
Ratio: 1g coffee per 15g water · Brew time: 3–4 min
Espresso
Produces a rich, bold shot with a thick crema and deep chocolate notes. Use a fine grind and 9 bars of pressure.
Dose: 18–20g · Yield: 36–40g · Time: 25–30 sec
French Press
A full-bodied, rich brew that brings out the caramel and cocoa. Use a coarse grind and let it steep fully for best results.
Ratio: 1g per 12g water · Steep: 4 min
Cold Brew
Huehuetenango beans make an exceptional cold brew — smooth, sweet, and chocolatey with zero bitterness. Worth the wait.
Ratio: 1g per 8g cold water · Steep: 12–18 hrs in fridge
Drip / Auto
Works perfectly in any standard drip machine. Use a medium grind and fresh filtered water for a clean, consistent cup every morning.
Ratio: 1–2 tbsp per 6oz water · Medium grind
AeroPress
Fast, versatile, and produces an incredibly clean cup. Great for travel — and for getting café-quality coffee anywhere you go.
Medium-fine grind · 200°F · 1–2 min press
